I am currently on hiatus, so you will not see new blog post for a while. It's time for me to take a breather, still my books are with me. More reviews to come, I promise!

Books Investigation Has Moved to A New Domain

Maybe some of you will notice the change of my blog name and of course the URL. I had been planning for having my own domain for a while and now here I am. I want it easier for my (and future) reader to find my blog so that's why I chose this name.

I don't review books by genre, so I think it's the right name for this blog. Other than that, since this is practically a small blog, it wouldn't hurt to use keywords on domain hoping that it will help its position in search engines.

I also would love to tell you that I won't be posting anything for a while. I need more than a few days to do more things for my blog. I admit that I started this blog without really having a plan in hand, and I am now left confused because of it. I never thought that blog planning is important, kind of silly, isn't it? *grins* Let's say that I am going to use some time to make it as a better blog.

Alright, since holiday is around the corner already, I wish all of you who celebrate it a happy holiday! Have a good time!

What's Your Reading Challenge for 2012?

I have never give myself a reading challenge before. There are few reasons for it and the first and foremost is because I am not really an organized person. In the past, I read only when I felt like it. Sounds fun? Yes, because it didn't give me any pressure. But, there is but, I had no idea on how many books I have read during that year and it wasn't cool at all. I ended up adding more and more books on my to-read list without any further action to finish them.

Review : Shopaholic Takes Manhattan (Shopaholic #2) by Sophie Kinsella

Tittle   : Shopaholic Takes Manhattan
Author  : Sophie Kinsella
Publication date  : March 2nd 2004 by Dell
Audience  : Adult

I was kind of bored the other day so looked for something funny to read. It has been ages since I finished Confessions of A Shopaholic, so I thought, why not read the second book? I likes the first book, but it didn't really impress me because I didn't really like the ending. It's a funny book, yes, but I felt like there was something missing.

Review : Between The Sea and Sky by Jaclyn Dolamore

Tittle     : Between The Sea and Sky
Author  : Jaclyn Dolamore
Publication date : October 25th 2011 by Bloomsbury USA
Audience : Young adult

I fell in love with Between The Sea and Sky's cover the first time I saw it. It looks so gracious and eye catching. Now the question is, is the story as beautiful as the cover?

Not quite. The only good thing about this book is the cover!

Teaser Tuesday #1 : Between The Sea and Sky

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB at shouldbereading

I decided to take part in another cool meme called "Teaser Tuesday". It's one of the most interesting memes out there, so yes, I am excited. Anyone can play along, simply do the following:

  1. Grab your current read.
  2. Open random page.
  3. Share 2 teasers from somewhere on that page.
  4. Be careful not to include spoilers (make sure what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others.
  5. Share tittle and author too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teasers.

Now here are my teasers for this week :

Review : Pure Red by Danielle Joseph

Tittle  : Pure Red
Author : Danielle Joseph
Publication date  : September 8th 2011 by Flux
Audience : Young adult

Okay, let me get straight to the point! I never thought that I would love Pure Red . My first impression for this book was a typical soapy teenager romance story. However, since I was looking for an easy and quick read, I decided to give it ago. I certainly hoped that it would remind me some kind of teen feeling because, man, I miss those years! *giggles*

The Land of the Silver Apples is the second book of the Sea of Trolls trilogy. I fell in love with the first book (you can read the review here). It is one of my favorite books of all time and it did leave an unforgettable impression in my heart.
