Tittle : Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue (The Junior Novelization)
Author : Walt Disney Company

I watched the movie Tinker Bell last year and was very impressed. But I think I wasn't lucky enough to watch the next movies of Tink and when I found out that there was a novel version of the movie, I felt relief. Oh, finally I get to know the next adventure of Tink, yay!

5 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started Blogging

To tell you the truth, this is not really my first time blogging. Yes, I started this blog last September, but before that, I did have another blog. The difference is, my previous blog was actually about random things that I found interesting. I didn't take it seriously, after all. I wrote for it for a few months then I started to get bored. Why, because I was not passionate about the topic I blogged about. I did found the topic interesting, but it doesn't mean that I am passionate about it. Based on that, here are some things that I find to be important for new bloggers (I am still new too, anyway) or those of you who are looking forward to start your own blog.

Review : The Greatcoat by Helen Dunmore

Tittle : The Greatcoat
Author : Helen Dunmore
Publication date : March 5, 2012 by Hammer
Audience : Adult

When I first read the summary of The Greatcoat, I was instantly interested. Lately, I am in in the mood to read ghost stories, so I picked this book without a second thought. It is my first time reading Helen Dunmore's work as well. I expected  this book to be romantically haunting (does that make sense?), since there is a ghost involved. I was quite sure that the story would be interesting, I mean, falling in love with a ghost? How cute and creepy can that be?

Review : Bartimaeus: The Ring of Solomon by Jonathan Stroud

Tittle : The Ring of Solomon (Bartimaeus 0)
Author : Jonathan Stroud
Publication date: November 2010 by Hyperion
Audience : Middle grade / young adult

I just cannot describe how much I miss Bartimaeus. I read the trilogy a few years ago and I was very impressed with the world that Stroud built. I was saddened because of the fact that it has to end. I want some more of Barty's adventure and I believe that I just can't get enough.

What Kind of Book Gets 5 Stars from You?

Great books are hard to find, especially nowadays. With so many books being released everyday, it's even harder to spot the gem from the crowd. I once ended up with so many books I didn't like and I was quite devastated. Yes, I mean it! You know, for most of us, time is a very valuable thing. So, when you waste it for something you don't like, deep down you'll demand it back.

Now, talking about great books, I am actually kind of stingy with my stars. You may ask, why? It's free to give and harmless anyway. I know, but still I'd like to provide my readers the most honest opinion I can give. I can just throw 5 stars to every books I read, but then again people will wonder if I really did read those book, right? That would be misleading and a blogger must not mislead his/her readers.

Watermelon is not a book about fruit, nor a book about food. It's a story of a lady, Claire, whose husband left her when she gave birth to HIS daughter. He left her for another woman who was older than her (and yes, she looked her age). Those disaster left Claire devastated.

Review : A Good Day to Pie by Carol Culver

Tittle : A Good Day to Pie (Pie Shop Mystery #1)
Author : Carol Culver
Publication date : August 8, 2011 by Midnight Ink
Audience : Adult

I picked A Good Day to Pie because it is set in a pie shop. Now, how tempting could it be? A murder mystery mixed with sweet and tasty pie. What a great combination! It is also my first time reading cozy mystery and I can say that I was quite excited. A murder story doesn't have to scary, right?
