I am currently on hiatus, so you will not see new blog post for a while. It's time for me to take a breather, still my books are with me. More reviews to come, I promise!

Teaser Tuesday #6 : False Covenant and Wither

Teaser Tuesday is a meme hosted by shouldbereading. Anyone can play along, simply do the following:
  1. Grab your current read.
  2. Open random page.
  3. Share 2 teasers from somewhere on that page.
  4. Be careful not to include spoilers (make sure what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others.
  5. Share tittle and author too, so that other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their TBR list if they like your teasers.
Now here are my teasers for today:

False Covenant by Ari Marmell

Widdershins, however, went nowhere near the heavy metal doors providing ingress to that shrine; shuddered, in fact, when she passed them by, and smelled the faint traces of incense from beyond. Lots of memories lurked within the shadows there, and not a one of them pleasant. (Chapter 4)

 Wither by Lauren Destefano

I freeze where I stand. If the House Governor is with one of his wives trying to impregnate her, it would only make things worse for me if I walked in on it. (Chapter 2)
Okay, that's my teaser for now. I hope it would be helpful to you in order to organize your to-read shelf. Happy reading, everyone!

How To Write A Negative Book Review

First of all, this post is by no means an official guide. This is just how I write reviews for books I don't enjoy. Since the first time I started blogging about book, a negative review is something that I don't really like to write, but then again, I have to be honest so I should tell it like it is. I also find that negative review is hard to write because you have to pin point the main weakness of the book, without being insulting. Now, these are how I write mine:

Review : Roseflower Creek by Jackie Lee Miles

Tittle : Roseflower Creek
Author : Jackie Lee Miles
Publication date :  May 1, 2010 by Cumberland House (2nd Edition)
Audience : Adult

Let me tell you how the book started. It began with "the morning I died, it rained." Now, who wouldn't be tempted to pick it up and continue reading? Yes, that's how it caught my attention and I have to say the day I finished reading Roseflower Creek , I sighed.

Review : The Islands of The Blessed by Nancy Farmer

Tittle : Islands of The Blessed (Sea of Trolls #3)
Author : Nancy Farmer
Publication date :October 20, 2009 by Atheneum Books
Audience : Young adult

The Islands of the Blessed is the final book of Sea of Trolls Trilogy. I have this book sitting for a while in my to-read list. Its thickness actually scared me *grins* but then I remember how much I enjoyed the first two books and it was enough to convince me to picked it up.

Review : On The Fringe by Courtney King Walker

Tittle : On The Fringe
Author : Courtney King Walker
Publication date : October 19th 2011 by Lands Atlantic Publishing
Audience : Young adult

I picked On the Fringe because I was looking for a quick read. I have been so busy lately but I determine to read more book this year. Well, that's just one of many reasons. I love books, I can't stand being apart from them for a long time. I was looking for a horror story, or anything that has something to do with ghost then I found this book.
